Kinetix leverages the decentralized Pyth and API3 oracles on KAVA EVM for its perpetual smart contracts. Within the KAVA EVM ecosystem, Pyth oracles serve as the primary price feeds for Charts, Execution, and Keeper Sets, while API3 oracles function as reference price feeds. In the event of a failure in the primary oracle, API3 oracles also contribute to deviation control, providing an additional layer of protection.

By employing three oracle providers across multiple chains, the DeFi Hub ensures continuous operation, meeting traders' requirements even if issues arise with one of the oracles. This robust approach to pricing is supported by three advanced oracle solutions:

  1. Perps v1 on Kava EVM (Kinetix):

    • Pyth

    • API3

  2. Perps v1 on Polygon zkEVM (QuickPerps):

    • Pyth

    • API3

  3. Perps v1 on Polygon PoS (Metavault):

    • Pyth

    • Chainlink
